THE SERVICE
Gulf Conformity Mark requirements and assessment routes
The Gulf Conformity Mark, or G-Mark, indicates conformity with applicable Gulf technical regulations. It is a conformity marking, not a quality award or the Saudi Quality Mark.
Covered categories include low-voltage electrical equipment and children’s toys. The relevant regulation determines the manufacturer’s obligations and when a GSO-notified body is involved. We check the product scope before recommending a route; not every product sold in the GCC requires G-Mark.

Review the technical file
Match the model list to test evidence, instructions and labels. Identify gaps before arranging any additional testing or assessment.
Support assessment and marking preparation

COMMON QUESTIONS
A little more clarity.
Is G-Mark the same as the Saudi Quality Mark?
No. They are separate schemes with different purposes and requirements. We help identify which route or combination applies to your product.
Does every application require a notified body?
The applicable Gulf regulation and product category determine the assessment route. We confirm this before defining the work.
Does G-Mark replace all Saudi entry requirements?
We review Saudi requirements separately alongside the Gulf scheme. A G-Mark application should be planned together with any relevant national registration or shipment steps.
Can I use existing test reports in a G-Mark application?
Send complete reports, certificates and the list of models they cover. We review their relevance to the proposed product and assessment route. A report for a similar model should not be assumed to cover your full range.
What should I send for a G-Mark quotation?
Share the product description, intended use, destination markets, model list, photos and available reports. Include the manufacturer’s details and any previous assessment documents so we can identify the starting point and required support.
How much does G-Mark certification cost and how long does it take?
The route, number of models, available evidence and any testing or notified-body work affect cost and timing. We define the support scope and identify known third-party charges before proceeding. Incomplete files or technical questions can extend the review.
