1. Who is responsible for your information
GoCertify is a trading name of GLOBAL INTEGRATED MARKET ACCESS STANDARD SOLUTIONS LTD, a limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 13563558. Our registered office is 71-75, Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ.
The company is the controller of personal information used to manage our website enquiries and client relationships. Contact info@gocertify.net or write to our registered office for privacy questions or requests.
2. Information you choose to provide
When you contact us, you may provide your name, business email, company, phone or WhatsApp number, product name, HS code, product description, intended users and expected shipment arrival. Supporting documents may include photographs, specifications, labels, test reports and certificates.
Messages, correspondence and project records can contain personal information about you or other business contacts. Share only what is relevant and ensure you are authorized to disclose it. Do not send passwords, full payment-card details, identity documents or sensitive personal information unless a specific need and appropriate transfer method have been agreed.
3. The current enquiry form and file selection
Selecting files does not itself upload them. Submitting the form sends your entered details and selected attachments to our HostGator enquiry handler for delivery to info@gocertify.net. Attachments are processed temporarily for email delivery and are not placed in a public download folder. Copies remain in the receiving mailbox and may become part of your project records.
Cloudflare Turnstile verifies form submissions and may process device and network signals to detect abuse. The enquiry handler also stores hashed abuse counters and submission fingerprints for rate limiting and duplicate prevention. Entries become eligible for removal after 24 hours and are cleared on subsequent requests, so removal may take longer when there are no further requests.
4. Live chat, cookies and technical information
The site uses tawk.to for live chat. When its widget loads, the service may process IP addresses, device and browser details, page visits and session information. If you use chat, it also processes your messages and contact details. The widget uses cookies or similar browser storage to support its features.
Live chat loads only after you select Accept & open chat. You can leave it closed and contact us by email or the enquiry form instead. Select Turn off chat to reload the page without loading the widget; this stops further chat requests on that page but does not erase previously collected data or cookies. You can clear existing cookies through your browser settings and request deletion of chat records by contacting us. Our hosting and security providers may also process technical logs for operating and protecting the service.
5. Why information is used
We use your information to respond to enquiries, assess products, prepare quotations and deliver agreed certification support. Where you personally enter or request a contract, the basis is taking steps at your request or performing that contract. Where you represent a business, our basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and managing that relationship, balanced against your rights.
Our legitimate interests also include protecting the website against abuse, maintaining relevant business records and handling complaints or legal claims. We rely on legal obligations for required tax, accounting and regulatory records. Where consent is required, including for optional marketing or browser storage, it must be obtained separately and can be withdrawn. An enquiry is not consent to marketing. We do not sell personal information or use enquiry information for automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
6. Who may receive information
Relevant information may be received by personnel managing your enquiry, hosting and communication providers, professional advisers and, where needed for your agreed project, laboratories, certification bodies, platform operators and authorities. Disclosures should be limited to the purpose of the work or a legal obligation.
HostGator supports enquiry processing and email; Cloudflare Turnstile provides form security; tawk.to provides live chat. WhatsApp, WeChat and social platforms process information under their own terms when you choose to use them. Public authorities may receive information where disclosure is legally required.
7. International processing
Our services involve international markets. Hosting, communication providers and project participants may process information outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States and the country where certification is requested. Information should not be assumed to remain in the United Kingdom or Saudi Arabia.
Transfers subject to UK data protection law require an applicable transfer mechanism, such as UK adequacy regulations or approved contractual safeguards together with any required assessment. The mechanism depends on the recipient and processing involved. Contact info@gocertify.net for information about the recipients and safeguards relevant to your enquiry or project.
8. Retention and security
We retain personal information only for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected. For enquiries that do not become projects, this depends on whether discussions or follow-up remain active. For client files, the relevant factors are the duration of the service, certificate or regulatory recordkeeping requirements, applicable accounting duties and any outstanding complaint or legal claim. Chat records that form part of a project may need to be retained with that project.
These are retention criteria, not a promise of automatic deletion on a fixed date. You can ask about the retention of a particular record or request deletion at info@gocertify.net, subject to lawful reasons for retaining it. Secure transport protects form submissions, and attachments are not made publicly accessible. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please tell us promptly if you send information in error.
9. Your choices and rights
Subject to the applicable conditions and exceptions, you may request access to your personal information, correction, erasure, restriction of processing or data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and to direct marketing. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Email info@gocertify.net to exercise a right. We may need proportionate information to confirm your identity. We normally respond within one month; where the law permits an extension, we will explain it. Do not send identity documents unless an appropriate method has been agreed.
You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/ or telephone 0303 123 1113. You can also contact another competent supervisory authority where applicable. You do not have to complain to us first, although we welcome the opportunity to resolve your concern.
10. Children and changes to this policy
Our services are intended for business users and are not directed at children. If you believe a child’s personal information has been provided unnecessarily, contact us so the matter can be reviewed.
This policy will be updated when our business details, providers or website features change. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law; a policy update is not a substitute for obtaining consent where needed.
